Professional Driver Training Classes Registration
Dates and times for professional driver training classes (July through September) are listed below. Classes are grouped as "new driver" and "refresher." E-mail us for class descriptions and fees. To register, fill in the form below and click the submit button. You will be contacted about payment options and to confirm registration.

Training Classes for NEW DRIVERS (20 hours required for STS):

Passenger Assistance 1 (4 hrs)
Disability Awareness and Assistance Technique

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Passenger Assistance 2 (4 hrs)
Wheelchair Handling

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Defensive Driving (4 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

First Aid (4 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Abuse Prevention (4 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

New driver training classes are also available at Red Cross on alternate months of DARTS classes. Call 651-291-4666 for a registration form or visit their website.

REFRESHER Training Classes (15 hours required for STS):

Passenger Assistance/Abuse Prevention (2 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Defensive Driving (2 hrs)

Time: 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM

First Aid (4 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Wheelchair Handling (3 hrs)

Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Awareness & Prevention of Diseases (4 hrs)

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Note: Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Additional trainings will be scheduled based on need. E-mail DARTS if your training needs aren't met by these offerings.
