Coaching/Counseling Service for Caregivers

DARTS provides caregiver coaching and geriatric care management through Eldercare Partners, a collaboration of Twin Cities nonprofit organizations (including DARTS). Family consultants/coaches focus directly on the needs of family caregivers, so they have the skills, training, and emotional support to stay balanced and confident throughout their caregiving journey.

This service is available to caregivers in the seven county metropolitan area who are caring for someone 60+ years of age or someone of any age who has dementia. This service is available on a sliding-fee scale (based on the care receiver's income). The service is funded in part by the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (through the federal Older Americans Act) and in part by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
