The Ultimate Clean-a-Thon Benefit Drew a Crowd!

In October 2007, Ultimate Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning hosted The Ultimate Clean-a-Thon, a 36-hour benefit for DARTS. More than 100 people dropped off 270 items (rugs, car mats, office chairs) for cleaning and made a suggested donation. All proceeds went to DARTS. Jon and Val Erickson, owners of the cleaning company, wanted to show others that even a small business can be community-minded and make a difference. The benefit was a first for the business and a first for DARTS.
