Volunteers Meet Community Needs

DARTS provides volunteer opportunities for all ages to help meet the changing needs of seniors and their families in Dakota County.

Many of these volunteers, young and old, visit the homebound, work with frail or chemically dependent seniors in their homes, help local children learn to read, help disadvantaged youth in the community, and help with DARTS' general day-to-day operations.

Our volunteer resources department connects volunteers to all community-based programs at DARTS, including community services, transportation, and fundraising. A regular volunteer newsletter keeps volunteers and others informed of what's new in the volunteer resources area at DARTS.
Call DARTS at 651.455.1560 to learn more, or send us an e-mail.

We also work with other agencies to better serve the community.
