DARTS Teams Up with Courage
Center for Vehicle Donations
DARTS
and Cars for Courage, the vehicle
donation program of Courage Center, have teamed up to expand
vehicle donation options. DARTS is now a drop site for vehicle donations,
along with its new partner, St. Paul Automotive.
Cars, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and other vehicles can be donated.
It’s easy, tax-deductible, and makes a difference in the lives
of people with disabilities and seniors. When you drop off your
vehicle at DARTS or St. Paul Automotive, a portion of the proceeds
will benefit DARTS. Your
vehicle donation helps DARTS and Courage Center promote mobility
and independence in our community.
To get started:
1. Contact Cars for Courage for information at 763-520-0540,
toll free at 888-440-CARS (2277), or visit their website.
2.
Be sure to mention DARTS.
3. Bring your vehicle, keys, and title to DARTS,
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, or to St.
Paul Automotive,7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
4. Self-serve
drop boxes provide everything you need to donate your vehicle.
5. Cars for
Courage staff will handle all documents and provide you with receipts
and information for your tax deduction.

"My
Gift Could Pay Me an Income for Life?"
Consider a gift annuity established with DARTS through
The Saint Paul Foundation.
More people are considering charitable
gift annuities as a simple way to contribute cash or other assets
to a charitable organization and receive a predictable, fixed income
for life. Gift annuities offer a more generous payment rate than
current interest rates and allow you to take an immediate income
tax deduction for your gift. With a charitable gift annuity, you
can:
- Choose your gift -- it can
be cash or other assets
- Enjoy an immediate tax deduction
- Receive monthly or periodic
annuity payments
- Have a consistent income stream
not affected by the economy or stock market
- Choose to begin receiving
payments immediately or defer them to a future date
- Support the important work
of DARTS
Call Joelene Evenson, 651-234-2221,
or Jan Needham, 651-453-9009, at DARTS for more information and

Businesses
and organizations can contribute to and support DARTS in many ways,
including sponsorship and promotional opportunities. See some examples
listed below.
