Hastings LOOP Transportation Service Launches with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

DARTS is excited to officially launch the Hastings LOOP transportation service. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on August 26th, with acting Hastings mayor Danna Elling Schultz, and Dakota County Commissioner Mike Slavik in attendance.

In response to the growing need to have an affordable alternative transportation system for the city’s seniors, DARTS has been working with the Hastings Transportation Advisory Board for the past several months to introduce a new LOOP service that will offer access to set destinations around the city via a predetermined route. The Hastings LOOP officially begins its scheduled routes on September 6th!
